Yet Another Way to Get Killed

Two guys riding along going to work while still dark, on 55 MPH 2 lane road. Approaching stop light intersection, have the green. Pickup truck (fellow worker) was approaching the light from opposite direction, to make left turn (also had green). Rider on right side made right turn, while rider on his left went straight (going to a different work entrance). PU driver saw rider turn right, somehow was thinking the TWO separated headlights were a car that was turning right, and started his left turn, right into the path of the rider who was going straight.

Instant fatality, arm or leg ripped off. Don't have more details about PU blinker on, speed, etc.

Car Drivers just don't think about Motorcycles. They should put more Time during the Drivers License Process talking about how invisible bikes can be........

Sorry to hear about this but this happen to me a few years back. The other rider was a great friend and was killed right there. I hate hearing about this type of storys

Wow, hate to hear about those things happening, especially when a driver isn't paying full attention like he should.
