YAWN

18 degrees this morning and about 25 for the ride home. Gerbings is your friend.

Approximately -11 wind chill with a 60mph wind (and I know I'm going faster than 60

too damn cold for me!  I had a hard enough time crawling into the car this morning at 5am when it was 32°F
Hah, not having a car tends to make sure you're prepared for any kind of weather. Fortunately the SO has hers but since she's self employed, I seldom have that as an option.

Around 17 this morning and calling for 14 tomorrow.

I went yesterday morning. Was 26 F. I felt fine except for my hands. I could only tolerate a 20 minute ride as my hands started to get numb and freeze. What do you guys recommend for cold weather riding. My Joe Rocket Leather gloves arent cuttin it.
Heated gloves. Either Gerbing's or Widder are most common although there are others. The Gerbing's are pretty good for a 30 to 40 minute ride in the mid to lower teens. Below that and my thumb starts to freeze.

I've had some problems with my Gerbing's this year and have had to send them back for repair several times. Fortunately repairs are free. In addition, the last time I had to send them back, they sent back replacement gear.

The issue with that is that I'm sure they're busy repairing other gear so getting it back can take a bit of time.

For me, I ride with jeans, a polo shirt, thick socks, Gerbing's jacket liner, 1 piece Aerostich, Gerbing's gloves and HD storm boots (waterproof).

I'm in the market for heated grips, looking at Dual Stars mainly. I figure with the two, I'll have toasty hands down to single digits.
