I am looking at buying an '08 Busa with an X-TRE already installed. I am not at all familiar with this device and wondered what experiences you guys have had with it. The owner says it retains the gear indicator feature but removes the timing retard in the lower gears similar to Ivan's TRE. Also has three programable maps.
Those that have one on their '08, I'd appreciate any input good or bad on this thing. I was concerened that the wiring harness might have been hacked to install it.
