the bike is for real, weather or not the real owner is selling it remains to be seen? I think the 8,000 dollars in spark plugs is a big clue. I do know the bike has one off race panels and drastically improve aerodynamics, it might be worth it to buy it and replicate the race panels and sell them for big $$$?

real bike i watched a video on the development. he reckons it cost in the region of 180 grand to build.

yeah, but 8Gs for plugs??? pfffft. I could design and build them myself for /14 of that, or buy the planet's best for TONS less!! it's a real bike, but it's an ebay joke

Ca$h,

my father owns a surveying company and just bought some GPS instruments that cost over $20K each. The are "superior" models that get within 6-12 inches (or something like that). And, they have on board computers that do all of the azimuths, coordinate geometry, etc. They are sick cool.

is this the same bike that was in cycle world mag a few months back? The one I remember readind about had little horizontal wings at the front axle plane and rear footsets...I remember the article talking about wanting to hit 200 on a closed course. Either way, the dollars are just plain silly. :super:

OK Yeah it's a cool Busa, I have seen other pics of it.. But to say over $900K invested is just plain silly. Then Charging $195 for this thing?:super: Uh, No I don't think so...Its just like the small minded guy who invests $20K in his $20K Mustang GT then tries to sell it for $40K. Folks just don't get it they are unable to seperate actual worth and persoanl or sentimental value. Cool Busa though.

Here's a thought, we need to get this bike for the Captain. All it needs is a custom Hayabusa.org paint job Get the Damned "Frog" company name off the side of it...
