Would You Buy Used Fairings Off Ebay, Or Similar?

After going down on the left side last April, I bought an "oem" nose, "oem" tail, and both left side "oem" fairing pieces off eBay. 1 seller. Pretty decent price it was like 350 for them. Then had them plasti dipped. Now, I have a broken tab off the nose, which almost just rocked back n forth and came off, and the lower right tab of the tail, busted off like cheap plastic does. So can you guys help me in determining how to tell true oem? Maybe a serial number, etc? There's gotta be legitimate oem pieces on these seller sites I just gotta find them.

Usually the multi colors on the back of the fairings from the stripes would indicate that it was OEM. I have ordered fairings that were claimed to be "OEM" and when they got here they were junk soft plastic so I sent them back.

If you still have the tabs you might be able to have a body shop and have them glued back.
