Shop said motor is locked up
Didn't grenade / over heated or anything like that
It just quit running while cruising !!???

$3500 for a bike with a locked up engine is not that bad. Considering not only is the purchaser getting a bike that does not run, they will have to put time and effort into swapping the engine.

And have you had a second opinion on this? 24k is nothing for these engines, and I'd be hard pressed to believe it just seized up for no reason.

Good luck with it brother. lots of folks love that bike

PS might consider getting a second opinion :dunno:

The motor cant be locked man. I just dont believe it!!! It has to be something else.

If the engine IS locked up, and it just quit running while cruising, then your back tire would have locked up in the process until you pulled the clutch in.
Did it? Will the engine turn over?
Not trying to hijack your for sale post, but you'll obviously get alot more for a running bike. You may have a more simple fix than you belive, especially if you're unsure about the shop anyway.:beerchug:

The bike was just fine ( except for the very quiet clicking noise)
I was getting off the interstate and was just fine then it died !!

Tire didn't locked up !!

Then the motor may well not be locked up. Before I took $2500 loss on it, I'd be digging a lot deeper finding out for sure what the problem is.
Be a shame to sell it, then see it going down the highway just fine a coupla days later after a $25 part replacement.:banghead:

Engine won't turn !!
It clicks ( headlight goes off like is a bout to turn but nothing )

That sounds like an electrical problem. Could be as little as a corroded battery cable on the starter end, or a bad ground.
Have you tried bump starting it to see if the motor is actually locked?
