Wiring a gen2 fuel pump to a gen1

Anyone know how to do this with the gen1 having 4 wires and gen2 having 3

gen1 got 2 grounds ,,,they go to the same place ,,black/white stripe
so,,,,,, yellow/red stripe- fuel pump main power,same gen1 and 2
black/white strip- main ground for pump and fuel sender
then only wire left is the fuel gauge wire
