Welding the hub together and putting in Schnitz heavy springs that are for gen 1 bike but also using the gen1 spring stud. Now If i can get away with using 3 heavy 3 stock id like to try it,but because I dont have access to gen 1 stock springs,can you see a problem using 3 heavy springs with gen 1 studs and 3 stock gen 2 studs with gen 2 springs?? Or wonder if using gen 1 stud with gen 2 spring would coil bind the spring?? If nothing else Ill just slap it all together and find out but curious if anyone has already found my answer.
