Will accelerometer work on bike?

Have a Beltronics FX2 accelerometer I've played with in my 87 Mustang GT (5.4 sec 0-60, not bad for practically stock motor!). Not 100% on parameters it works on, but does anyone know if it can be used to do 0-60 and 1/4 mile times on my Busa? Anyone used one before?

Vector FX2 is the fast, easy way to learn the facts about vehicle performance. The portable, high-tech FX2 measures acceleration (0-60; quarter mile times and more), cornering, horsepower and G-Force.

Vector FX2 stores up to ten runs in memory and can easily download results to a PC or Palm. The high-tech, ultra-bright vacuum fluorescent display readily confirms all information. An absolute must for every car enthusiast!

The Performance Computer measures the performance of your car by sensing acceleration forces. An internal precise digital 2-axis accelerometer tracks your car's acceleration, braking, and cornering forces approximately 200 times each second. A built-in computer continuously analyzes this data and calculates corrected G-Forces for the G-Meter operation, and speed and distance data for the Timed Run operation. Your Performance Computer was developed and tested extensively, both at drag strips and using our VBOX professional vehicle testing equipment, the ultraprecise data acquisition system used by auto makers BMW, Honda, and AMG Mercedes; race teams Ford Racing, Roush Industries, Chip Ganassi Racing, and Renault F1; tire manufacturers Michelin, Bridgestone, Goodyear, and Kumho; and car testers at Car and Driver and Automobile Magazines. The result is the most accurate accelerometer-based performance computer available. And it's the first unit with true one-button operation: Press a single button for calibration, a single button for G-meter operation, a single button to start a timed run, and a single button to review your previous runs.
