Will a set of Gen.2 fairings fit a Gen.1 Busa

I know you can put the rear end of a 2008/09 on a Gen 1 Busa as long as you have all of parts but will the side fairings and front match up as well?

I dont think so, they are made differently, would take lots and lots of fabbing to get it right.

If you had a Gen1 and a Gen2 side by side...you could switch EVERYTHING from one bike to the other...and I mean EVERYTHING from the frame out. Just fairings won't get you there...inner fairings, main stay, instrument cluster, air ducts...all the fasteners, clips, grommets, etc etc...would not be easy to just buy the parts needed without another bike to figure it all out.

I know two people who have done this mod, both of the bikes look brilliant. The rear subframe bolts straight on, you just need to move the rectifier. You will need to change the seats aswell.
