Who Rode Today?

Yeah, they aren’t great value if you just want big numbers.
A modded Busa will always win, drags, dyno etc etc.
They are a very good streetbike that offered a level of trim and spec you can’t add to a Busa. I like the toys and extras and fancied a change. I think I’d still be happy if I’d bought a Gen-2 and I’m actually still after one for the drags. I don’t think they are a better bike, just an alternative that ticks different box’s.

I felt the same way with my Kawasaki especially after selling my last ‘standard’. The Z900RS really hits the buttons the Busa doesn’t on the mountain roads around here. I wonder what parts it shares with yours.

Out this afternoon with a few others....

Beyond Blue. Australia support for depression and suicide prevention.

I see, now I understand and that's a great thing as both those are prevalent in today's society almost everywhere.

The only time I’ve rode the bike in many weeks, I decide to go to cycle gear. It’s about a 30min ride. Figured I would look at jackets. Instead I found the ONLY rain Houston has had. So now I’m soaked like a wet rat only to find I left my CC at home! Oy vey. I was drying off by the time I got back. Of course, no rain on my side of town.

I rode today for the first time in 10 years. It was just a 20 mile trip to see how she would run. Filled up with fresh gas and breaking the new tires in. No issues on the bike and it felt great being back on her!
I'm sure that had to feel amazing! The first of many more.

Jerry that R6 next to you might be stolen ;) The hidden plate on it is not for a Yamaha , and comes back to something else when I ran it awhile back . Someone at that store rides it .

Really. I noticed it sitting on curb setting up new helmet 2 months ago. The regrestration sticker has Kaw = kawasaki not yam like my bike in the garage.

I like it too. I bought the black 19 before seeing the grey and red and when I did I had to have it and traded my FJR for it.
I bought my black and gray in 2008 and the salesperson swore to me that a white version was not coming anytime soon. I was irate when the white came out! Lol

Well, the week came and went, we got lots of good rides in. He and I got our last ride in this evening as I escorted his family to a town to this south of us here.

He was going to load his bike into the trailer but decided to ride it to his in-laws following his wife in stead.

Going to miss them terribly...

That is so nice to hear, makes me think about my two girls, both have their own families, in their 30's and live 300kms away from me . . . I miss them too.

I hear you, the boy who visited lives in Nova Scotia which is 2500kms away from me. He's got 3 little girls (10, 8 and 3). As I type, I can see the 3 yr old's' hand prints on the sliding door...I'll wait a bit before I clean the window...

Hopefully one day he'll switch airframes and get posted to the base near the wife and I.
