no. 23 miles of fun , and burned half tank of fuel mile markers 198 to 223 on 45 north in Texas

We did..
We're working our way from Melbourne, (Victoria) to Adelaide, (South Australia) over 3 days
About 1200 kilometers around the coast one way..
Awesome time, great friends and the GF's first major run past two days.
Met up with a group of BMW adventure riders and had a stop and chat on the cliffs..
Tomorrow is the last leg heading into Adelaide.
3 and a bit days in Adelaide and a return journey inland.

After 3 days of epic riding, pulled into Adelaide in South Australia late yesterday afternoon.
Had the best time and awesome friends to keep company. Have a few days work and a couple of breaks, then homeward bound. It's times like these I feel alive and realize the Busa and me are in a long term relationship.
It is the best mile muncher bike I've ever had
GPS tells me we did 1174 Kilometers from home to here. Best 3 days in a long time
Even had to do a river crossing on the ferry ..... But... we didn't pay the ferryman
I will admit, Rostra Cruise is the best mod ever if you are eating up the miles..

How was the ‘engine’ braking on decel, any, enough?

I took a quick 10 mile or so ride just to fill up the tank
It’s wise to always park it with a full tank, especially in winter.

It was kind of like a diesel brake. When you let up on the gas it slows down. No need to hold the brake when stopped either...
Have you talked to Bryan about his fancy lightweight mirrors? I know they work well fir him since I have rj's old mirrors on mine.
