Went out to the windmills today on the BMW. Attached photo is an old windmill trip, but same place. There are a lot more now and riding down the interstate, there was an amazing sunset on one side and an amazing moon rise on the other. All this while the windmills majestically churned away. I love windmills....

Then to the Lake Road dragstrip. I should not have watched this I have a feeling it's going to cost me $20K or so. Really looks like fun! Then back to VB for a nice dinner at Dockside Restaurant looking out at a bridge the firm I work for designed. Only bike was the ZX-14. You need a little stretch @ROADTOAD1340 ! Also saw a money match between a Z06 and a GTR, Vette won by a hair

I rarely drive in the dark but I must admit, the BMW headlights are nothing less than amazing. The have a servo controlled deflector that is hooked to the IMU so it stabilizes the beam. Incredible light and awesome vision at night.

That BMW dash looks amazing bro , sort of looks like it might have a kind of HUD on the screen too !!
That 14 is stretched for sure ... I think my drag racing days are over , but I am planning on setting up some parts ready for my 14 to get a drag at the street drag meet , maybe the new track also opening up soon . I have an old mate who is a master rider , on road race courses and drag racing as well , 74kg all suited up , he will get to run the 14 on the 1/4 , but stock wheelbase .

Not sure I would trust this to a vinyl zip tie. The brake pads could still heat up a bit. I would have gone with wire, since that's basically what its for anyway. But I would remove the rear brake all together anyway, not too much of a risk riding without it. I tested my Busa without the rear mostly as I didn't have the new SS line made up yet. I keep wire and the plier tool in my long trip bag along with duct tape.
