I was looking through eBay last night and saw a "too good to be true" deal.
The seller only wanted $2900 for a buy it now sell on a 2005, and wanted to be contacted "outside" of the eBay system.
Looking at the sellers other items it looked as if they were in the antique photo business, not high end sports bikes.
Obvious hijacked account.
I of course reported the seller, after which my interest was peaked. There were many many others, some of which were listed with other members bike photos.
Looking at many of those, the seller was selling as many as 20 bikes at a time, without VIN's and asking to be contacted outside of the eBay system.
So it dawned on me. What if we, as a owners group, watch eBay and report all suspicious or fraudulent activity regarding Hayabusa's. It should be pretty easy, and may even discourage thieves from using Hayabusa's as bait. What do you guys think? If we all chipped in I think it could be pretty affective ...
just an idea. Down with thieves!!!!
