Where are the women?

Just a thought. I've noticed there are plenty of women through out this web site. Why don't we have a gallery just for this topic. Yeah, I've seen the "pictures my wife wouldn't want me to see" gallery. It's had the same 4 pics for eternity. Why not have one of our wifes and just typically hot Girls on the Busa? Plenty of pics on the site. Why not post them together instead of speard out between 3 million pics. No need for it to be distasteful just a place for the other reason we puchased the the fastest bike on the planet. :super:
 
Let me address this, we have had pics on the board of women that were posted by themselves or husbands and boyfriends. It never fails that someone crosses the line and says something inappropriate that is completely unacceptable. I would rather not put pics on the website that are going to create problems. If you want women on bikes then there are plenty of other places to go but its not going to be here its not a necessity to have for the site to be a good place.

Like Captain stated most of the pics of females are someone's wife or a pic of themsleves...Most of us that have been visiting the site for awhile consider most of the members darn near family...I agree totally with the Captain on this one...To many times you could try for the women to simply be admired here comes an off color statement that ruins it for all especially the women...
 
That's a big 10-4. Just thought I'd ask. And to tell the truth, that's kinda the answer I expected. It's too bad some people just can't be respectful enough to just keep thier mouths shut. No matter what's going through there minds. Very unfourtunate for those of us with some tact.  Thanks for letting me know before I posted my pics.
 
If everyone could use some common sense then we would be OK, the problem is that some people just dont care.

It's a shame, but at the same time....True. I don't know what it would take to make some people care. Or if nothing else, pretend, and be respectful. Most likely they haven't run across or should I say, crossed the right man yet. It'll happen soon enough. Too bad that couldn't be now, and all those who lack respect at the same time. For every one that learns the hard way, there are 9 to replace them. Unfortunate.
 
Never fails, people have to ruin it for everyone else!!!

I do believe that this is a good call though, there are plenty of other sites for arguing and such. I enjoy this place being friendly
 
Definately a good call. I get to deal with those whom lack respect all day. Thus far NONE have crossed the line and said something about my wife. I'd prefer to keep it that way. It'll happen eventually, I'm certain. And eventually, they'll let me out on good behavior. Small price to pay.
 
I posted some pictures of my wife on my bike because I am proud of both. All the responses are very tasteful, but that was what I expected from this forum. I would have never posted pictures of my wife if I thought the comments would get nasty!!
 
Blas32 what you will find is that when something out of order is seen on this board its reported and removed quickly, however the pics that you put up of your wife will at some point have a link from another forum somewhere where the members are not nearly as respectful. We have found in the past pics of members wives and girlfriends all over the Internet with some very distasteful comments.

As long as I don't see them I can live with it and so can my wife. This and suzukihayabusa.org are the only forums I visit.
 
Just out of curiousity...there is a place in the Gallery called "Pictures My Wife Wouldn't Want Me To See" or something like that. It has about 5 pics of women in bikinis on Busas. Was that just a bad idea that still lingers? I tried to add some pics to it once and couldn't. But I just figured that my computer illiteracy was at work again.

I totally support the sites stand against porn. I have been wondering about that group of pics for a long time. Is it OK to add to them, or not? If so, how do we add to them, and what is not allowed?
 
Thinker those are just pics that have been around a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time. Your right though they need to go. I havent been in the gallery in months so thanks for reminding me.

It's good to see that you took no offense to the Captains position...You'll enjoy this site and we will see your numbers grow...
 
Kinda' makes you wonder......why would someone want to post pics of their wives or g/f's on the internet anyway? Don't people realize that pervs can copy and paste pics from one source and put them somewhere else on the internet. Not to mention how pictures can be manipulated or changed.....i.e. removing ones clothes or putting someone else's head on another body.......
 
I totally enjoy having women in this forum that have the same passion for the Busa and wouldn't want that to change. Most have posted their photos already.

I enjoy the boy/girl banter we have but would never want anyone to feel uncomfortable. This forum is a wonderful place and I have even made real life friends by meeting some of the people from my area.

So, what were we talking about again?

You can usually tell if a picture has been messed with.  I am not that paranoid plus she already has pictures on the internet from modeling websites.  Everyone knows thats the chance you take but it's not a big deal.
 
So would the same hold true about pictures of some of us 260 lb beefcakes? I was going to post some speedo shots my wife took of me but I dont want to break any rules of censorship on the board. :laugh:
