When to Switch to Synthetic OIL?

Do most switch to synthetic oil? If so when? How many have conitnued with regular oil? Thanks

Go to synthetic at the 600 mile change. There is no reason to wait. The rings not seating is an old wives tail. There are plenty of vehicles that start out with synthetic oil.

I switched at 600 miles. No problems at all.

I switched to Amsoil at 1st service and no problems and I am at 11K now.
