Wheelbase Measurement???

Dumb question... where is the right location to measure a bikes wheel base??? Drag racing wheel base measurement. Say you're in a 65"-67" class. Where's the exact location you would measure???

I measured mine by eyeballing where the center of the front tire contact to the center of the rear tire contact. Idid this on both my ZX-14 and my busa. Both yielded measurements that were exactly what is published for stock wheel base. Both bikes had some chain stretch too so that does not change stock WB much at all. The busa chain is at the service limit and still has stock WB.

can it be done? its my goal for saturday. going to strap the front end down to help. my best 60ft so far is a 1.7 and that was the only time i have ever had the bike on the track
