Whatz your catch up speed?

I got a ticket back in 2004 for 104 in a 50 zone. Cost me
$450, 2 points on driving and an extra $150 for my insurance.
Not worth the 2 second rush in the end.

worst I got was 240 kph in 70 kph

1000 bucks and 12 points (Canadian

Imagine that the cop said he was following me for 4 km at a distance of 100 foot. A good thing I din't hit the brakes. I woulnd't be here to talk about it.

Are those cop cars that fast?

He lied because I was by myself and when I caught up traffic ahead, I slowed down and this where he shoed up behind me, about 15 sec later.

Knock on wood never been caught by a cop, but did play with one of those robot radar devices they set up once or twice.

A new law went into effect this year here in Oregon.  Anything over 100 mph = Automatic $1028 fine and 30 day license suspension.  It makes me gun shy about puling the trigger and doing triple digits anymore.

I'm not condoning running, but realistically if a guy is already doing a buck thirty and the LEO hits the lights, he is already screwed!  I think it actually encourages someone (who might otherwise stop) to just gas it and play blind.

In my younger crazier days I left a trooper in my mirrors at about 110... stayed on it doing 150-160 on my gixxer and never looked back.  Im older and wiser now.... there is a time and a place for that and its not on the Interstate.

That's something for me to keep in mind if I ever go through Oregon.

And I agree, more people will run as a result.
