I wondering what the highest stock GEN 1 dyno numbers you have seen. I think my buddy as a freak GEN 1. We dynoed it today and bone stock!!!! SAE 161WHP/100WTQ!!! Our jaws hit the ground!!

We took the bike to the track on a extremely windy day. My bike was down from running 9.5's to 9.7 and my mph was down from 141 to 138. This bike went 9.96@141 with our local pro rider in the same wind.

I was under the impression that most gen 1's make 148-153whp stock. Has anyone seen higher?

i had 2 different dyno's ran on my 05..first read (SAE) 150hp the second was (ISO) 173hp..so if and when ppl ask what kinda power i just tell them 160...

Just curious on what your 1/8 miles time were?

The closest track to me is 1/8 mile and my bike stock geared and non stretched, I weigh 190-200 with gear on. I got a 6.61 @ 114mph with a 1.74 60 foot. And that was the first time I ever launched the busa. My 03 R1 when I had it went 6.41 @ 115mph with just +2 on the rear stretched and 003 Shinko and a few other mods.

I have seen 168 SAE, bone stock, straight from the dealer with about 50 miles on it. I also had a customer come in approximately one month ago with a bone stock Gen 1 with 20,000 miles on the clock. He wanted a powercommander installed, and a custom map done. Prior to the tune, the bike made 160 @ 96 ft pounds; after tuning, it made 168 @ 101 SAE. Just goes to show how crappy the the stock ECU mapping is . . .

I'd like to put down some numbers like that, guess I gotta start doing some mods first lol

my 02busa bone stock pipes and all 157hp before cams and yosh box map 5-10-10. 168hp after. installed by Danny Thompson (r.i.p.) of performance toys in nc. at a later date added a full muzzy exhaust. dynoed 175hp, on a different dyno though. back in 2002

Frank the Man! Did my bike and it runs like a raped ape!

mine had done 154.8 . Same exact hp the highest zx12 put out on Ryan Schnitz dyno in 2001. Stock everything before i figured out how to launch hard, 9.70@145. I was 205 dressed then. 1.60 short. I remember well.

Resurrection.

Mine made 160hp SAE on a typical reading dyno. The bike weighing in at 500lbs with 2.5 gallons fuel and a 175lb suited rider has ran a best of 9.79ET @ 140mph w/1.52 60ft time. This is at 5300' altitude with a 7500' DA. On a good DA day at a sea level track, shouldn't have trouble running 9 teens @ 150mph.

Stock except for +6 rear sprocket, airbox mod stock filter and modded stock exhaust...and of course bike weight loss as well as ECU editor tuned.
