Whats the best battery and charger combo i can get?

sounds good....i think thats what I'm gunna be doing from now on....i gotta call ballistic battery's customer service now to see if i can use my current charger on their battery.

You probably already got this answered but yes, a standard ol' charger works on them.


My Busa has a 24v starter setup and STILL was not enough to turn it over when it was hot...had to puch start a couple times. I replaced both of the batteries with a 12 cell and an 8 cell from Ballistic and now even when it's hot the damn thing cranks like a spoonfull of meth.

There are way better battery maintainers out there than the Battery Tender stuff. Look into Noco Battery Geniuses or BatteryMINDer stuff.

I'm still on the fence about the Lithium based batteries. Have heard of a few brands catching fire and even had a customer bring a Ballistic 16 cell that melted in a Harley.
