I'm going to look at a few used Hayabusas, mostly Gen II, and I was hoping some of you guys would help me compile a checklist of what to check for when inspecting a used bike. (Or anything Busa-specific I should check for.) On my list as it is, I have:
Check Title Status
Maintenance/Record Logs?
Initial motorcycle walkaround: damage to the fairings, handlebar ends, levers, exhaust, pegs? (Obvious the bike has been laid down, without being told by the seller?)
Look for leaking in the forks/shocks
Any strange emission/chugging from the exhaust when bike is started?
Does the engine sound healthy while idling?
Check chain and sprockets
Test drive: check each gear 3-4 times, look for any trouble shifting, bad clutch, brakes?
Anything else I must look for? Sorry if any of that made me sound dumb. ^
