As I try to do most of the work on my busa myself I wanted to ask you all for input on what things you needed to do on your busa and at what mileage.
My busa is coming close to 40,000 miles, recently rear wheel bearing has failed on me and I've replaced now both and front. Wheel bearings have not been listed in the hayabusa service intervals and I completely missed it. I am asking you all now so that I don't miss something again - would prefer to replace before it gets to the point that it fails.
Some things I have done:
- oil and oil filter change every 3,000 miles
- valve clearance check done at 32,000 - only one valve needed adjustment
- wheel bearings replaced at 37,000 (both front and rear)
- following all service intervals outlined in the service manual
Any tips and hits on what to check?
