Rythm, I got a new set of super bright LED's (blue of course!) five up on a board the size of the end of yer pinkie!

Whuuuuuuud, are they smt's or LED's and was it a kit or a custom jobbr ?  Hit a brutha up with a PM l8tr to fill me in, just another project to add to my list of to do's if its a "SMT" setup.  Also How well did Betty do with running the new wires in the house, I hope it wasnt too much of a hair rais'r for her

Definately a custom SMT job. I was thinking of using it for the etched mirror mod but it is WAY too bright.

We did pretty good with the wiring. I learnd lots bout GFCI recepticals & how not to wire them.

Momma should be calling the inspector today and hopefully I can take tomorrow off. We're only doing safety tests anyway, should be OK.

Cool UR.

Firebird raceway (local dragstrip) is having an SCO night in Feb. If I can get my shid together, I'd like to take Suzie out there and see how fast she'll run. We should get together with Copper1, FastinPhoenix, and Shinto & see if we can get a Busa contingent to go.

BTW - All ya'll reading this are welcome to head out there if yer in the neighborhood!

A Frost etched mirror should act as a tint for the SMT lightintg, Mikey. I personally dont feel you should have a problem with it being to bright once it is place behind it. Just go ahead and take a cheap hand mirror to the Auto shop at your school and sand blast the backside of it to get an ideal , just make sure to etch with aluminum oxide for the actual mirror you plan on using.

I was going to experiment with the glass beader.  I figure to cut a mask out of contact paper (shelf paper) with the laser engraver then bead blast the back side.  I agree that the frosting will distribute the light but I'm thinking it's still gonna be too bright.

You could (as someone in the past so eloquently put it) land a plane with these things!

BTW - How's the AlOx work? I thought that was an abrasive?
