What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Feel bad for you wallet! Titanium and carbon addiction on top of blue addiction?!!!!!!!:hide:
Blue addiction trumps Ti & CF if jeff gordon just saying. You say cf drooling Ti hear palpitations begin but Big BLUE & response is SOLD. Sorry honey mortgage is going to be a bit late it was blue i just couldn't help myself. Mic drop. Boom.

Cursed myself out for making a really bad mistake but did fit 46t sprocket & yes one of those bolts striped can't tighten or remove it.
Well my TQ wrench was not as good as I thought guess that's why the good ones cost so darn much; lesson learned.

No flop think everything centers off cush drive side 1st. Did you press these in? Do by hand with old bearing on top of new with a metal hammer. No damage & you can hear a different tone when it hits bottom. Check you tube replace hyabusa rear bearing. Fit is tight. May have to use but of screw driver to center tube.
I have to see if they are bottomed out...I don’t have the Cush drive on yet I am just awaiting my vortex sprocket.

Yes that is a very true statement hah.
Funny story so I went skiing the last week in December and I have only gone twice in my life ever.
So of course I don’t own ski’s and have to rent. I ask one thing of the rental place....make them blue.
They came out with red :banghead:
So now I came home....trolled eBay, found a used set of the bluest ski’s I could find and a very lightly used set of race ski boots (the only ones that come all blue)
Next year no red skis for me!!

Hard core you are making me proud! I love blue but on my busa the color is very RED. I understand.

I have to see if they are bottomed out...I don’t have the Cush drive on yet I am just awaiting my vortex sprocket.
Check them both by hand with old bearing on top of new & a metal hammer don't have to hit hard but when bottomed it makes a different sound. Check you tube hyabusa rear bearing removal.

.....you sir, have a sickness.....

but it sounds like a fun one at that!

Anxious to get home and put "finishing touches" on the facelight; though still have a few more weeks to yet.

Ordered reservoir clamps, front and rear thump bolts for seats.

Still have more "bit's and pieces" to go on the wish list.

It's amazing how customizable a Hayabusa really is !!

It's a labor of love :D

Picked up a Givi 46L Monokey topcase off Craigslist for $50 this morning. Now I need to buy a rack and baseplate for it. Looking at Givi’s 541FZ rack. I know some of you went SW Motech rack. Any pros/cons to either one?

Doesn’t look like you’ll be able to add side cases, if you ever want to add more storage.

22” seatbag and a small tankbag for LD rides, tankbag and sometimes hump storage for local or weekend rides. I prefer keeping it slim. If I toured two up I’d still only have side bags. You really don’t have to take as much stuff as you think.

Oh, stop already, lol. You just use a tank bag or what?
We are trying to convince @WuzzaCBXRider to throw away all those straps and bungee cords, but it has been a tough task.
Talking about givi cases, I got so tired of messing with separate keys for my top case and another key for my side cases that I went ahead and ordered a set of givi’s new beefed up lock set. I ordered their 3 lock kit and installed it just now. I’m really happy !!! now, one key will live on my busa’s key chain and another on the concours14, so I don’t have to worry about keys when switch the top case from one bike to the other, nor will I have to carry 2 keys on the busa when using my top case and v35 side cases. The kit came with SIX KEYS total!!!!!
