What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Dan-Moto Rearsets arrived today and began test fitting before deciding to keep and run them at which point I will red loctite the sh!t outta every bolt or send them back.

Do I like them? Yea I do they look good, the anodizing is so/so in areas but I mean they are solid pieces. If I do keep them I’ll give a formal review of them. I am still working to resolve and issue with shifter placement.

I got my new mirrors in from KiWAV and wow. Estimated delivery was 2-3 weeks which I expected during the holiday season but it ended up taking maybe 3-4 days. Packaging was superb and overall experience with them was top notch. I highly recommend.
Marie and the KiWav team are great can’t wait to see them mounted on your bike. What style did you wind up going with?

Steven looking at full size photos of your issue you might be contacting the side stand heel spur . You might try grinding it off , and relocate it to lower on the foot . That will get it away from your toes ( ball of foot )
Another option weld a small spur onto side stand where it contacts the frame in the up position , This would lower the stand ever so slightly .

Flipping the shifter to gpshifting would lower the shift arm and maybe solve clearance issues. Nor sure where your issue is. I flipped my stock shifter and used a gsxr600 shift rod to give me clearance. I prefer reverse shifting but you would need to be comfortable with it to prevent full throttle downshifts. LOL

Reassembled the shock, set spring preload, compression and rebound to racetech’s suggested numbers and found a guy that will recharge with nitrogen for $5 dollars, so will pay him a visit tomorrow. I replaced the OEM bladder cap that requires a needle, to the kind with a shrader valve. Needles expense, but looks nice IMHO.

Looks brand spanking new to me...great job. A real inspiration.

Nicely done !! Can’t wait for a riding update

Fought a bit more with the Dan-Moto rearsets. I finally got them into a good position I am happy with how they feel. I have to get new hardware because in and out with the aluminum screws took a toll on them.
I am going to have to run a modified side stand because of the swoop the billet rear set shifter has.
