What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Thank you, How you like them. Looks like another addition to the list of things I will be ordering lol.
No test ride yet Steve. All I did was start the bike to make sure I didn’t scew up anything and shut it off again. Needed to start getting ready for start of the week, as I’ll be working dayshift. Have a week off starting Friday, so will definitely put some miles on her. I haven’t even had the chance to do a good test run of my upgraded OEM shock I installed several weeks ago.

Want to point out wear / millage . Normally plugs like this will last 100,000 in a automobile . @ 24,000 in a bike they are spent , and Suzuki wants them replaced @ 7,xxx . RPM's , and compression are the key to the accelerated wear . X auto cruises @ 1700 to 2600 rpms on freeway going 70 mph . The bike is turning 3900 to 4600 rpms at same speed ( gearing dependent ) Max RPM auto avg 6000 rpms . Bike 11,500 .
If one were to average it out the bike is wearing the plugs at least three times the rate of the auto . In some cases even more like on a 600 cc turning 5800 rpms at 70 like my wife's bike .

I have the same plugs Miguel bought. They are OE plugs. Mine runs great. Not sure I saw much improvement in mileage over what I pulled out ( which were OE ) so the old ones weren't likely bad. I changed them because now I know they were changed. In regards to general maintenance, if I didnt do it, it wasnt done before.

How often are you planning on changing them? I’m raking miles at a decent pace on the c14 and I know this job won’t be as easy on that bike.

Maybe every 25k. Probably wont change them again until after 50k and I'm at 22k now. I do oil every 5k. Chain is cleaned every two weeks regardless of mileage and a little lube here and there every 1000.

Ti side stand hardware and rear brake Clevis pin arrived, so I anodized them in blue.
Ti header came so I started to clean while I wait for my gaskets to arrive.

Quick question; can you use exhaust hanger plug with muffler still on ?

Exhaust plug.jpg

I want to change look of the exhaust bolt. Not many options available. I may have to put a rubber grommet or ring/seal to help with vibration.

This seems the easiest way. Can't find a exhaust bolt cover.

Thanks in advance.
