What causes clutch drag?

I didn't know a Bazzzaz could adjust idle!! Man, it's high time I read up on what else I can do with that thing other than manage fueling.
I found out by surprise when I plugged my laptop into it...of course I never read the manual...

I have 2 maps and only run on one as the other will cause the bike to overheat slightly if in any traffic.

So the bike could creep from this?

Yes, as the warped steel is still in contact with the fiber plates next to it on both sides.
This is not a common problem, and I have only seen it where the clutch fiber plates were replaced once or twice while reusing the same steels, and constantly abusing the clutch.
The steels were blued(hot) and blackened(burnt in fibers).
Laying them on flat and true surface easily showed them to be warped.
Not allot, but definately out of spec.
