And here is where my long relationship with Suzuki's start
Suzuki TL1000 R bought new in 2000, (another big disappointment, no bottom end either after my Le Mans so didn't last long)
Suzuki Hayabusa, 2000, stonking bike, bottom end plus top end but...900 miles to a back tire, which I couldn't afford back then, ironically, I now get around the same with my supercharged Busa haha)
Suzuki 2001 GSXR 1000, bought new, awesome but quite tall in the saddle compared to the Busa which I felt I sat in rather than on.
Suzuki 2004 GSXR 1000, bought new,
Suzuki 2005 GSXR 1000 bought new....the one! awesome in every respect and back to feeling like I was sat in it not on it. Had to go tho before I ended up in jail so bought a
1969 TL 1000 S to try and calm me down, worked to a degree coz it kept trying to kill me on long sweeping bends when it would start wallowing then throw a temper tantrum, had the rear shock replaced, front forks worked on etc etc but nothing worked so I thought oh well, I would rather go to jail than be dead so started thinking, what was the best bike I've ever had, my 2000 Busa was the answer so in 2013 I bought my beloved 2008 Gen 2 Busa and the rest, as they say, is history and I now have a 325 bhp fire breathing monster which I will never part with. :race:
