Well this is a pain.

Got up Wednesday morning, looked in the mirror and saw my right eye was drooping.
Had earache and my jaw hurt and when the dogs barked it hurt my ear a lot.
Thought I'd got Bell's Palsey.

Went to the doctors and he said I've got Ramsey Hunt Syndrome.
Which is caused by the chicken pox virus.

Now I can't blink with my right eye and my face is drooping on the right side because it is paralysed.
Luckily I can shut my right eye when I shut my left eye.

Doctor gave me some antiviral tablets and some steroid tablets.
He said 75% of people recover.
Hope I'm not in the other 25%.

Just worried about riding the bike.
Like I said I'm lucky I can close my right eye when I close my left eye.
So It's not permanently open.

Just have to see how it goes.

i really am starting to thuink so...hope ya heal buddy! i can no longer ride at all anymore. back is too bad. sold all the bikes have nothing left but 4 wheel toys.

Hope I am in the 75% that heals up.
It's only been just over a week and it can take three weeks to show signs of recovery.

I suppose I could always superglue my eye closed.
