weird brake sound??

we just extended my bike, and after installing everything im getting a weird sound from the brakes. It looks and sounds like the brass colored clip in the rear brakes are scraping the brake rotor on the top. I have no idea whats going on. We looked several times and everything is installed correct?? any ideas?

Is the rear tire spinning freely or is it like the brakes are on halfway?

Could be a lot of things. Can you post bikes from the rear and of the mounting points?

Sounds like the clip that the pads ride on might be touching the rotor.

i dont think the brakes are rubbing, its just like busawizard said that little clip is rubbing just a little, i think in i ride it a little it will smooth down were its rubbing, its not real bad just a little anoying

I was asking because some ss brake lines are not bent at the caliper mounting point and do not let the caliper float freely making it rub. You will see the line rubbing one of the caliper bolts .

well happy to report the problem was gone today ??? it didnt make a sound something must have been just a little off and it settled in.
