Just the drive home can make a guy sick these days.. As of just a few minutes ago..

At least around here it has been pretty consistent-cold....

Big continents are bad for that effect.
Smallish islands like the South Island of NZ are so much more temperate and just don't have the same characteristics thank God.
We have cold fronts from Antarctica and nor west warm weather from Australia rotating constantly, our winters are mild with little to no snow, summers are warm and long, it's nice in the South Pacific!

You ought to be around when one of those fronts carrying a lot of energy comes through....things get interesting, quickly. I've seen the temp drop 30 degrees in about 20 minutes. Rain on one side of the street but not the other.
