Wanting to be a new owner

Hi everybody.  I am from Boise, Idaho.  I am looking at buying an 06 Busa.  My dilema is between a black busa and the white limited edition one.  I am leaning towards the black.  
I have ridden an R1 for about 3 years and am looking to upgrade to a bike that fits me, I am 6'6 and about 240 lbs.  I still have not ridden one because the dealer will not let me take for a test ride.  I am also looking to pay about $10600 for the black one.  I look forward to some comments.  Looks like a great board.

Thats what most folks get there's for I imagine.  But I'm pretty sure you can get a slightly better deal.  Like $9990 or so, maybe less.  Perhaps it's because the new Busa is coming...?

I wanted the white LE, but the stickers are all wrong on it. Plus, you get a good shine on that black and nothing can come close to it!

New busa what is going to be special about this one as far as beating the zx14 that truley is a ugly bike has anyone heard anything just bought a red and black 06 busa

I'm guessing you mean the black/silver? I think of the '02 LE when you say black. In either case, I would go for the black.
 
Personally I prefer the white LE..............

I think the black is higher maintenance to keep the pink WORK lookin good.... you know when it gets a little bit of age under its belt... All them little fine scratches that start to appear.... sure you know, the type I mean..... the ones you start wondering where did they come from... you spend hours tryin to polish out.....

Its totally true, you still get the same marks In any color....But they are far less visible in the white....

At 6'6 the busa is going to fit you like a glove...

Get the Black, I love my 06 Black, and if the finish ever needs redoing, well a paint shop can fix that. Your gona spend $$$ on mods anyway, even if you don't think so now

hated the r1 felt like i was looking down an old bonneville or caddy while rideing it...all hood no road...and personaly the white rider is drop dead sexy!!!...hmmmm hey i like that...the white rider...remember the old mel gibson flick it was called "mad max" that crazy guy from the motorcycle gang always running around screaming "remember the night rider" anyway i digress lol
 
Welcome to the board, the black le is beautiful, a bit high maintenance, but worth it. I'm 6'3" 2##, 200 plus (yeah, plus 55lbs) and it fits like a glove. It is what sold me on the busa originally. Now every other aspect has me hooked for life...
