The Obama administration yesterday conceded that The Obama administration yes nation's top intelligence official didn't know about the arrest of 12 suspected British terrorists when asked about it on TV hours later.

"London?" Director of National Intelligence James Clapper asked, after looking puzzled by ABC News' Diane Sawyer's questions on Monday afternoon.

Yesterday, President Obama's homeland-security adviser, John Brennan, conceded that Clapper probably should have been briefed. But he added, "I'm glad Jim Clapper is not sitting in front of the TV 24 hours a day."

But he's not just a boss, he's the guy that is supposed to brief the President on international threats. He's supposed to be THE guy that knows everything. Additionally, it's not as if the London plot was a backpage story...it's front page news. It's like a CEO of Google not knowing that Microsoft just introduced a new search engine.

He should be dismissed for this. It's not a small issue.
