Vortex Black vs. Gold chain kit

Does anyone know why the Vortex chain kit is $40 more for the black chain vs. the gold? I was wondering if it has to do with tensile strengh, but I couldn't find any data.

maybe most go gold. just a lot less black chains made so it's probably a different setup to manufacture? just a guess

If it's a black chain, the rivets and inner plates are probably silver. If I paid extra for black, I'd want ALL black.

Got this description from Revilla's product page, but it doesn't reference the color.
Maybe that's the difference.

"The RX3 chain with tri-glide seal provides 3 pockets of lubrication that reduces heat and friction, while increasing wear life by as much as 10 times over standard O-ring chains. Tensile strength of up to 11,000ft lbs.

The SX3 chain with tri-glide seal design reduces heat and friction resulting in longer wear life than a standard O-ring chain. Tensile strength of up to 9,000ft lbs."

If it is a black chain ,
the rivets and inner
plates are probably

silver . . .

If I paid extra for black ,
I would want ALL black .

I really dont like a gold chain. I may just go with Vortex sprockets and an OEM "natural"chain..smh

Dude's got way too deep of a voice to be riding a 600.

I'm curious Red, are you getting money to post youtube videos?
