Is there any way to tell as much info about this bike as possible,, I am SERIOUSLY considering it,,,
I want to be sure it is a 1999 bike ,, I think the board answered the big question about color...

VINs are standardized... the 10 digit is the year.. (any good auto tech has this burned in his brain)

the last 8 digit of the vin is called stock number and the first letter from left of stock represent the year of the bike which is X and that is 1999.

another GREAT verification is the EPA sticker... "this vehicle meets EPA emissions standards for the XXXX model year" Usually faster than finding the VIN code
