Vid for u Fall Bashers!!

time 5:44 is when me and GMBusa were leaving the gap last year trailoring our bikes out and this guy on a yellow and black gsxr 1k came right around this turn in our lane heading straight towards us, scared the crap out of me. fortunately we were only going like 10-15 and was able to come to an immediate stop and give this guy just enough room to miss my front end by inches...... after going around the turn looking at the next one it's easy to see how he ended up in our lane....

just though i'd share

The camera guy in the first vid needs to learn to smooth out his throttle control, both accel and decel. One of these days, he's going to take himself out.

That truck in the second vid, holy smoke. I don't know the area so I can't say if he has a valid reason to be up there but he should probably have a lights and sirens "Wide Load" escort. Unbelievable.

(Over_Easy @ Sep. 21 2006,13:40) Better keep these a-holes in mind while you're there.

THAT is scarry. I have family that for years drove tractor-trailers, and I have a lot of respect for the guys/gals that make a living doing so, and I usually cut most of them a break.

BUT, being the profession that I am, I would've written that driver so many citations, he'd have to take a 2nd mortgage on his house to pay them all. He not only crossed the center stripe unsafely several times (usually on every curve), but, on numerous occasions he put his trailer over onto the improved shoulder on the opposite side of the highway. EXTREMELY dangerous, considering how inhibited the view is of oncoming traffic.

Although I've never been on this road, from what I've seen in this vid and others, there needs to be a sign on both ends of the stretch prohibiting certain lengths of vehicles. Too much possibility of getting someone seriously hurt by driving that long of a combination like that on such a twisty.

there are signs for tractor trailer drivers not to go through there... warning of dangerous curves ahead..
