I see it's being decommissioned today.

God Bless all those who serve and have served, freedom is not free I truly appreciated every minute of it.

In looking at this mighty ship, I see it served in both Gulf Wars, so it's capable of sustaining todays modern aircraft...I have to wonder, why decommission such an expensive and massive piece of tactical hardware. Carriers ain't cheap...course they are not cheap to run either, but seems like with all the trouble in the world, we could use this ship somewhere...
