Using Stock A/B/C switch for custom map changes

I have a schedule with a local tuner and adding a 40+?? shot to the GenII.
He is going to Flash the ECU with 2 tuneded maps One on 93 pump gas and no shot and a tuned map+n2o+VP110 fuel map.
He normally ads a switch to Busa tunes to switch maps but I was wondering if any of you have used the stock A/B/C switch for this.
Seems it would clean it up and Running in A mode normally then switching to B (now the hot map) for the once a month fast run .
Anyone done this yet ?
 
Someone that knows more than me can chime in on this, but I really dont think it works like that. As far as I know the ECU can only hold one tune at a time and the mode switch does not change tunes just throttle responce.
 
i can change the fuel, ignition maps and many more per mode using woolich

I have been looking for that post that gives the step by step for wiring a mode switch to pin 58 I think for an hour .. anyone got a link .. must be blind tonight
