USB chargers

I installed a usb charger today, was curious where you put your charging unit. I ran the wires under the tank through the two bolted metal tabs to keep it in place, but I have no idea where to put the actual usb piece.

Here's what/how I have done mine:

I have mine sitting in the front left hand side in front of the fuse block, under the cover with the usb cable running neatly to my phone mount. I cap the usb cable with a vacuum line cap when not in use.

I have a one and attached it to the triple clamp by running a zip-tie around one of the bolts that “sandwich” the Lower and upper pieces and bought a 12in usb cable to reach my RAM mount, but to avoid extra cable flopping around. Mine is a 3BR waterproof unit, so it has a cap that seals it tight when not in use.

I have one up front and one in the trunk. I just use double sided tape.

I ended up using some double sided 3m velcro. Turns out pretty great, you don’t even notice the lines unless it’s pointed out.

I was gonna mount mine to the frame but couldnt find a spot that wouldnt get hit by the bars at full lock.

Just used some black black cable ties (make sure it stays dry in heavy rain!)
