upper control arm gmc

heres a question for you cage techs...

replacing all my bushings, ball joints, steering system, suspension and so on - on a 85 safari 2wd van...

i noticed some shimz between the upper control arm and where it mounts to. they may have got mixed up and such on the first side i took apart. i tried searching the net for some help and found nothing.

is there a couple points i need to measure for aligning the upper contol arms axis? or a link to somewhere i can find this info? btw not trying to align the 2 wheels for steering...

You can set the wheel for in and out,side level with shims and a bubble level, but not the caster. You need a caster guage for that...shim it till it takes the bumps smoothly and let it go..
