Does this look right? Most of the ones I've seen are like $175 to $200

That's just a stock piece.....the ones that are $150-250 are the after market ones that allow you to lower the front end.

Quick question couldnt someone looking to lower the front just drill out the stock top clamp allowing the upper fork tubes to pass through?

No because u end drilling into the mounts. I had a buddy who did the mod and reweld it on. Looked good but broke when he strap down the bike.
