Ninja, I was wondering what your bike's temprature stays at when cruising around. My temp quage stays just below the middle line, then when stopped it will creap just barley above the middle line, is that right?? No oil cooler. Oh ya, with a outside temp of only 80. When I drive, it will go a little under the middle. (Do you still have your oil cooler??)

Also wondering if it would be a good idea to take out the thermostat to let it flow faster.??

Sounds about right to me too. I run a higher % distilled water to coolant, helps a bit. I have no oil cooler. I do have the fan wired for manual overide so I can turn it on when I want...

Good, just wanted to make sure. I also have a fan over ride switch and use it all the time.

When does the automatic fan come on, just above the middle??

So Frank, without the core there is no thermostat right?? Why use the housing?? Did it help cool any better??

Close to being right. Mine is just a little under like yours. It will crop up to the line and very slightly over if in traffic. I will not let it go beyond that. I will shut it off in traffic. The only thing you wnat to make sure that your fan is coming on right at mid or right over the line and stays on until it drops slightly. So check fan...

Sounds like mine is close, under when riding, even or a little above in traffic.

How about those muzzy fan blades, do they work, are they worth the money.

Thanks for the info

Worth the money is subjective. I have one and yes it dows help. I also had one bend a blade and had to put a new one on. That was not the fans fault. It moved.
