EXCELLENT!   Grabbed them all for my screen saver.

I love seeing the track reflection on your visor.

Questions for ya:
1. which class do you ride with on the track?
2. how is your suspension setup:  default, tight street or track?
3. what tires besides Powers have you run on a track?
Nice WWJD!! I'm flattered to be part of your computer screen.

anywayz:

1.) I rode the street group, or level 1 which is the beginning group. But I only got passed by 1 of my buddies and was pulling in 1:42 laptimes. The instructors told me to bump up to L2 or Sport next time I sign up, which is the intermediate level. I was a little fast for street but I've done 4 track days already.

2.) I had my suspension tuned by Racetech when I did the Fontana event. I noticed their techniques were pretty similar to Jinkster's thread. My front forks preload are socked down full. The comp and reb are adjusted to the same clicks as Jinks' settings. I experiment mainly with the rebound settings by a couple clicks only cuz it's the most sensitive. Less damping for street and more for track. So it's track tight for a 230lb rider.

3.) I've only been on Stock Bridgestones for the 1st trackday and Pilots for all the rest. The Stockers were OK but they dont stick nearly as well as the Pilots. Also the OEM's got torn up much faster. Pilots held very well for the last 3 trackdays.

Nice pics bro! Man your not kidding when you say the track eats tires....guess you've got to figure a set into the price of your day, huh?

Thanks for sharing
The pilot powers should last 4 to 5 trackdays. It depends on how much time you get, the surface conditions/temparature and how much lean angle you put in. The center on my Pilots are almost new but the sides are almost gone.

Nice pics... but what is that white and orange thing on the top of your tank??

Come to think of it, those white and orange things are all over your bike!

You mean the warning sticker on the tank? I just haven't gotten around to borrowing my wife's blowdryer and removing it. The one on the windscreen indicates the class and level I was in. Removes easily with water.
