Track day with the busa

HAHAHAHAHA Same drugged up effect here. I get back and don't hammer on the roads much, just not the same. After my first track day I considered a track bike, but then realized I had bought to busa because it CAN do EVERYTHING really well. I still take the busa to track days. Many people go track only. it's just so FREAKIN FUN!

I will meet up with you on a track day at Autobahn by the end of the summer. Right now i'm in the UP of Michigan working for a few weeks. The thing I don't like the most about that track is that there are no gravel traps, just grass. It seems like any little spill at that track results in a seriously damaged bike. It would also be nice if they had some stands to sit at. I just got some leathers and am waiting on my boots and I will be set. With any luck, I will be just as excited as you!

TRACK DAYS ARE WHERE IT'S AT!!!! I'm doing one in 2 weeks and I can't freaking wait. I last did one at Willow Springs back in May of this year. Too damn long!!! I'm gonna be doing at least 1 per month till the end of this year.

More track junkies! The list is growing!

Once you start you see how much one track day can improve your riding.

Been doing them for a while now. Started on Katana 600, and now on the Busa. Love them, and takes out my street aggression.

I had mine to the track 6 times and it's great! No I can't take the 600s in the turns but I catch EVERYBODY in the straights.

GTRPimp I'm going to Willow in Aug with Hypercycle and then again in Oct. The big track, it would be nice to have another Busa to chase.

Took my bike back to the track today only for a chassis adjustment. I had to laugh because he picks the bikes up to measure suspnsion travel or how far the tire falls in the front and back and when he does the Busa it takes 2 of us on both front grips and it felt heavy as hell. He makes the comment how in the hell do u take this thing on the track. I cant wait to try it now and see if it helps. He says Busas need front springs the rear is good. My front was 48 and he got it to 40 but the bikes that turn real good are in the low 30s. I dont understand chassis though on bike just learning. Its funny I was talking to 2 guys one on a 600 and one on a 750 and both had to use 3 to 4 gears I went around in 1 gear 3rd only u have to love trq also had one gut on a Aprilla 900 V-twin and he only used 2nd and 3rd also.
