Swing arm Option: Drag Race Club-Foot

Hey, new to the forum.
I have a question regarding the Trac-Dynamics club-foot swing arm option for the Hayabusa.

What exactly does it do?
How does it work?
Is it worth buying? I'm building a Super Street Drag bike

link for reference:

The club foot swing arm is an extra brace going to the swing arm pivot on the outside of the frame. It will be on the sprocket side for extra strength. A double club foot will have them on both sides.  You can see in the picture below how it goes outside the frame on the busa and what the front looks like

I rarely have seen one on a busa without wide tire kits. If you are building a drag bike, you don’t want a wide tire kit. They a bling item not a performance item.

I do see them at the track on old school bikes. Here are a couple pictures of KZ/GS arms. Single and Double Club.

And Welcome to the Org!

A little more info on what you are trying to build will help quite a bit!

I am slowly building a 2002 Busa. So far I have the following upgrades:

-BMC airfilter
-airbox mod
-Gipro ATRE
-PCIII USB
-speedo healer
-vortex front/rear sprockets
-Yoshimura CF high-mount
and a couple other minor performance parts.

I'm trying to build a fast 60" bike.
I would like to concentrate on my clutch housing, gears and basket. When I get to that I will be posting allot more.

Eventually I want to buy a Velocity stage III turbo, with all the goodies, but we will cross that bridge when we get there
