[ Halfway thru, I digressed to my friend that I too felt Biker Boyz was better. [sigh] Still buying the DVD... when it hits the $5.88 rack at Walmart ]

I am going to do a documentary of the REAL world of street motorcycling. I first have to hire a film crew (for free) and take off of work for the summer. Ask my wife to watch all three kids. and let me ride for three months and not come home.........ummm i guess torque will have to suffice.
 
WELL I MADE A NIGHT OF IT, I TOOK MY 6YR OLD TO HOOTERS FOR THE FIRST TIME AND HE HAD A BALL. ALL HOOTERS GIRLS WAS ALL OVER HIM WHEN I TOLD THE OUR WAITRESS IT WAS HIS FIRST TIME ... THEY EVEN GAVE HIM A TEE SHIRT THAT SAID " HOOTERS GIRLS THINK IM HOT" HE HAD A GREAT TIME AT HOOTERS AND HE LOVED THE MOVIE FAST PACED AND PLENTY OF ACTION. OVERALL I WOULD GIVE THE MOVIE A 2 STAR . BUT A BIKE MOVIE SO HAD TO GO SEE IT... smile.gif
 
Just saw the move thought it was little over the top with some of the stunts but then again it is a MOVIE ! ... kinda like watching the matrix you cant do those moves in reality so why bag on the motorcycle type movie when they pull unrelistic stunts

with that said the movie was cool i like it had lots of action pretty good plot would go and see it again and will get it on DVD so i recomend it especially if you go with your riding friends

WOW!! I cant believe all the bad reviews!!! I saw Torque and thought it was the most awesome movie ever!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, just kidding... haven't seen it, was sooooo looking forward to seeing it, and if I had heard even ONE person say they liked it I would probably go see it but sheeeesh our local news did there review, and there comment was that it was so bad that teenagers were in the audience making fun of the movie and how stupid it was.

Crap I remember when I was a teenager any action flick was cool, this movie HAS to suck. and then to get all this negative feedback here.....

Leads me to believe that the producers did not rely on technical experts and no one on the cast had a clue to what riding a motorcycle was all about.

I am thinking I wont even buy it on DVD. As a matter of fact I might be hard pressed to even rent it after all this publicity.

And to think I have been waiting for months for thie movie to come out, lets get the California Busa clans together and we will ride to Hollyweird and and express our concerns.

We need to really get all the Busa people together, not only so we can have positive impact as to the future of the the Busa and Suzuki, but crap, maybe we can leverage enough power against Hollywood so they can start making better bike flicks. We could even offer some of our members who are good at stunt riding and stuff to do the real stuff in the movies..

I am telling you all, there is power in numbers.
 
Thinking back, I REALLY gotta say I think the CGI wrecked the whole movie for me. They could have filmed the same stuff live [albeit more work] and it would have been the BEST biker movie ever. But the cartoony CGI just trashed the whole premise IMHO.

It must appeal to the non biking public. Viewers are giving it four out of five stars. It must be a comedy to, cause it's so bad it funny biggrin.gif

I saw it & thought it was just as bad as BB...At this rate, I dont think there will be a good sport bike movie for a LONG time.....

well, I like to TRY to connect with movies.... so bad plot aside, I enjoyed the whole father/son conflict and the ending in biker boys... plus BB has the Busa against a 12R and in the movie, busa was played as the faster bike, so, yeah, I like biker boys. plus biker boys had races, stunts, SOME decent scenes of motorcycles. Torque seemed to only throw bikes in as an environment and vehicles for movement. Just my opinion. I went to torque because I wanted to see a lot of film of the Y2K in action - but it sort of turned cartoony and wasn't as much as I'd hoped for. My opinion, a littel worse than BB

So, I'm getting GHOST RIDER 2, a local stunters video and Nick Slick's track/road videos if he makes few
 
OK, saw the movie today. I nominate it for "Comedy of the Year". I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. I like how the silver Daytona and the black bike with the flames were resurected. Espicaly the Daytona after being blown-up by the train.

This is one of the worst movies out period, and for it to be a bike flick, just multiply that by a 1,000. Everything was over the top, and the streetbikes on dirt roads, jumping hills is so far off. I almost walked out, but I gave it a chance. The Y2K bike was even more ridiculous once he rode it. I've heard of it, but the way it was portrayed on the movie, was cartoonish. The stunts look like something on Playstation. Please, no one go see it, and surely don't attempt to try any of that mess.
 
ok in a earlier post i said i am not going to waste the money

but it was sunday, movie was 6 bucks and i said what the hell why not

what did i think?

it was ok till u started to think while watching.
as long as you werent think about any thing and just sitting there like a potatoe the movie was good
but once you think,
its all over cause all you do is shoot holes in the story
 
I've seen some really lame movies in my day ( attack of the killer tomatoes ... and others ) and let me tell ya.
Allmost anything can be tolerable or even fun after several drinks - so enjoy this new hit movie! 40__s.gif all_coholic.gif beerchug.gif
