So, my parents got back from a trip last week, and the old man tells me the MIL came on during the trip.  Out comes the Autotap and I get codes for the TPS and MAP.  That means I need to clear them, and test drive

to duplicate the codes, to maybe figure out why they came up.  Well that was a bust as they never came back.

But I did find out some very interesting info during the test drive...  There's a 110mph speed limiter.

What is it with GM and frickin' speed limiters?  My S-10 dropped at 95, well below what it would actually do.  The Cadillac will go far beyond 110, I think.

Question is, how to get there?  It's not as simple as pulling a plug out of the transmission, as it would force the transmission into 2nd gear.

i wonder if a REAL SMATR TRE would work for ya.
to much

for me

Turner will do it. My truck "used" to hit the limiter at 96. They usually limit it to the OEM tire rating.
