Too much oil?

I was thinking... obviously I know what happens when you don't have enough oil. But what happens to the engine when you put in too much oil? How much is too much (besides the obvious answer of "when it over the "F" in the window)?

or could possibly blow a gasket under high pressure

Disclaimer: I am not a motorcycle mechanic.
In marine motors, excessive oil leads to the crankshaft striking the pooled oil in the pan, causing oil to foam, which in extreme cases can cause the pump (oil) to cavitate, therefore causing oil starvation and bearing wear/failure.

Now...you bike guys.....can this happen in an inline four motorcycle motor??
