Well, I rode in to work today, taking advantage of the SWEET weather. It rained somewhat thru the night, so when I got to work things were a little damp but not bad.
I pulled in the parking garage and the floors were SOAKED from all of the cars that came in w/wet tires. This was my first ride in on the Busa, so all I kept thinking was "don't go down, don't go down, don't go down". I pretty much walked the bike at a creeping pace until I found a spot to park w/a V-Star. When I came to a stop I let out a big "WHEW".
Although the temp got up to 76 today, you could tell the Winter winds were still out and about. This bike weighs 500 lbs, and I weigh almost 220, and I was still getting smacked around a bit! That really shocked me, and reminded me we're not quite outta the Winter woes just yet.
All in all tho, it was a great ride. A buddy and I are gonna do some more riding tomorrow in the area- If the wind is the same tomorrow, should I maybe get a sail???
