Great reminder...those that have sacrificed are never forgotten...those that serve now are always in our hearts and minds...
 
Had an Uncle who blew his ship up on D-Day to create a reef off the coast  so a make shift port could be made. As I recall

the Navy sunk over 50 ships to make a break water barrier !
